Safety Supervisor

The Safety Supervisor is responsible for ensuring Health and Safety compliance at our manufacturing plant in Cordele. Principal Responsibilities

•Health and Safety facility inspections
•Health and Safety facility audits
•Health and Safety facility training
•Health and Safety policy, programs, and procedures implementation
•Perform accident and incident investigation as necessary
•Provides directions to other department supervisors and plant employees in regards to health and safety matters
•Accurate and timely Health and Safety reporting and recordkeeping
•Occasional travel to EHS training events
•May be responsible for additional plant operations
•Participates and contributes to company safety program
•Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education: (Required) High School Diploma or GED; (Preferred) Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental or Safety Science
Experience: 5 years + EHS consulting or facility EHS management in a manufacturing industry preferred
License/Certification: NA

Proficiency with computers (specifically Microsoft Office Products)
