About the role
Our client operates in the automotive sector. We are looking for a Safety Technician to join the Vila-Real area. The functions to be developed are:
What you'll do
- Collaborate in the investigation of accidents, incidents, and safety observations. As well as, in the follow-up of actions derived from investigations.
- Perform follow-up on accidents and verify the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Perform periodic safety inspections in the plant.
Identify risks, deviations, and opportunities for improvement in safety.
- Propose and promote improvement actions regarding safety.
- Collaborate in the identification, follow-up, and closure of actions derived from audits, accidents, inspections, and safety observations.
- Follow-up of risks associated with machinery, facilities, and production processes.
- Collaboration with the Production and Maintenance departments in the resolution of safety deficiencies.
- Participation in awareness campaigns and activities and safety observation.
- Support in the updating of OHS documents.
- Among other tasks inherent to the job position.
What we're looking for
- At least 3 years of experience in similar positions.
- We are looking for someone with teamwork skills.
- Residence near the workplace is valued.
Education & certifications
- Higher Degree in OHS or similar.
Languages
- Fluent in spoken and written Spanish.
- English level B2
