- Conduct routine environmental and safety inspections throughout hospital departments.
- Perform monthly fire extinguisher inspections and document findings.
- Inspect emergency egress routes, exit signage, and fire doors for compliance.
- Assist with Environment of Care and Life Safety rounds.
- Check eyewash stations, emergency showers, and safety equipment as assigned.
- Monitor hazardous storage areas for compliance with safety requirements.
- Assist with maintaining safety records, logs, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
- Report safety hazards, deficiencies, and corrective action needs to the Safety Director.
- Assist with emergency preparedness activities, drills, and exercises.
- Help maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS) files and chemical inventory records.
- Assist with infection prevention and construction safety barrier inspections when requested.
- Participate in safety education and awareness activities.
