Join Apple’s Product Safety team to help deliver safe, reliable, and compliant products to billions of users worldwide. You will own the safety tests in an lab, inclduing safety validation, risk assessment, certification test and compliance testing for product. You will drive lab operations, test standards alignment, equipment management, global regulatory certification and cross-team alignment to uphold Apple’s rigorous safety standards. You are a disciplined, user-centric product safety & regulatory professional with safety testing, standard expertise, and certification capabilities. You own end-to-end safety test, certification, regulatory compliance, risk identification and continuous improvement. You proactively drive test quality, lab operation efficiency, global certification delivery and cross-functional alignment. You thrive in a fast-paced hardware development cycle and bring deep experience in product testing and worldwide regulatory compliance. You balance strict compliance with practical engineering to deliver safe, certified products at scale.

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.S or M.S. in Engineering, or equivalent experience with strong testing engineering skills and knowledge.
  • Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in safety testing, regulation certification testing and global standards in consumer electronics.
  • Solid knowledge of test fundamentals, test standards, lab equipment operation and testing methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, analyze and interpret test data independently.
  • Track record of delivering accurate test reports and certification documentation on time with proactive issue resolution.
  • Good command of English; able to read technical standards, interpret regulations and write professional test/certification reports.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with risk assessment methodology (FMEA, hazard analysis).
  • Familiarity with FATP manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Experience with global compliance certification and regulatory submission processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex safety systems.
  • Experience with battery or power adapter safety testing is a plus.
