DESCRIPTION
Our sales account managers are tasked with the creative and challenging responsibility of initiating and maintaining relationships within a Fortune 500 customer base to identify, consult, and ultimately execute large tooling and automation projects. The work is diverse and offers an opportunity to combine technologies across Invio’s entire suite of Industry 4.0 solutions. Typically, most of the work week is spent at factories engaging with existing and potential customers. The remainder of the work week is spent collaborating with Invio’s in-house design, subject-matter experts, and estimating teams on proposals, product development roadmaps, and other strategic initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bring a minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales role focused on automation solutions, particularly in production line or between process material movement spaces
- Lead strategic customer engagements—particularly within long-standing accounts—to convert open opportunities into wins.
- Utilize existing personal industry relationships to accelerate sales efforts and expand Invio Automation’s customer base.
- Drive sales of Autonomous Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) by leveraging a proven track record in automation and robotics sales.
- Collaborate with customers to define project scopes and support the development of strong business cases.
- Serve as the “voice of the customer” within Invio, advocating for project quality, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- Position Invio Automation as a preferred partner for advanced material handling solutions in general assembly environments, while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Expand the portfolio of solutions sold to key accounts, showcasing Invio’s full capabilities—including AGVs, door carriers, vision systems, robotic cells, and sub-assembly lines.
- Maintain a consistent, in-person presence at major production facilities, especially in preparation for upcoming vehicle launches.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering and technical teams to craft innovative, cost-effective solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Support marketing efforts by contributing to the creation of high-impact presentations, videos, and digital content aimed at automotive OEMs.
- Partner with the services team to ensure long-term customer success through proactive service and support offerings.
- Maintain a strong focus on sales performance metrics and KPIs to drive continued growth and accountability.

- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be professional, proactive, and positive. Having a passion for exceptional customer service and support is a must. Being sensitive to the unpredictable demands and uncertainties associated with human resources is a requisite to delivering superior results and exceeding the expectations of our internal and external customers.

EDUCATION
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Sales, Business, Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
