Sales Account Manager OES

Role Summary

MANN+HUMMEL Purolator Filters LLC seeks a Sales Account Manger OES to manage all OES accounts within the sales organization for automotive filtration products to passenger and heavy duty industry customers.

Main Tasks

• Pursue new growth opportunities, with existing and new customers.
• Provide effective management of sales efforts in support of Business Plan Targets in sales, profitability, and accounts receivables performance.
• Provide regular updates to Sales Director.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of current and targeted profitability by product group and customer.
• Develop and implement innovative new business acquisition strategies within current customer base as well as targeted new customers.
• Serve as the primary managerial contact for Original Equipment Manufacturers(OEM)/Original Equipment Suppliers (OES) filter customers, responsible for ensuring both the customer and all appropriate organizations within MANN+HUMMEL are effectively managed.
• Follow up on proposal and quotes.
• Collaborate with others to provide global coordination of key customers.

Your Profile

Education:

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign educational equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or closely related field

Experience:

• 3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Key Account Sales Executive or Manager, or closely related occupation in automotive OES or OEM sales.
• 3 years of experience: Selling filtration products and managing the accounts for OES or OEM passenger and Heavy Duty automotive manufacturers
• 3 years of experience with New Product Development lifecycle process for automotive filtration products, such as Simultaneous Engineering Process tools like xSEP; and with SAP.
• Travel required up to 10% of time to MANN+HUMMEL customer locations throughout the U.S.
