Position Summary
The Sales Administrative Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the administrative functions of the Sales Department while working closely and collaboratively with the Sales Managers to support the daily management, organization, and performance of the sales team. This position serves as a key administrative and operational partner to Sales Management, helping ensure the department remains organized, accountable, and focused on achieving its sales, performance, and profitability objectives.
Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000
Monday-Friday 8 AM-6 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Sales Managers to support the daily operation, organization, and administrative needs of the Sales Department.
- Assist Sales Managers in monitoring sales team performance, identifying areas requiring follow-up, and maintaining accountability to departmental expectations.
- Organize and oversee the day-to-day administrative functions of the Sales Department.
- Monitor daily attendance, punctuality, callouts, absences, vacation schedules, and other attendance-related concerns.
- Monitor daily sales activity and prepare accurate operational and performance reports for Sales Management.
- Review and report daily gross profit margins, identifying trends, discrepancies, and areas requiring management attention.
- Track individual Sales Representatives and the overall sales team against weekly sales goals, targets, and performance expectations.
- Provide Sales Managers with regular updates regarding representatives who are meeting, exceeding, or falling behind established goals.
- Follow up with Sales Representatives regarding outstanding goals, reporting requirements, deadlines, and action items as directed by Sales Management.
- Maintain organized and accurate sales records, customer documentation, performance reports, and internal administrative files.
- Identify attendance concerns, reporting discrepancies, performance issues, or operational problems and promptly communicate them to the appropriate Sales Manager.
- Support Sales Managers in maintaining accountability, consistency, organization, and effective communication throughout the Sales Department.
