Sales Analyst - Nordics
πZURU is on a mission to disrupt industries, challenge the status quo, and catalyze change through radical innovation and advances in automation. This is in play in different pillars of the company: ZURU Toys are re-imagining what it means to play; ZURU Tech is shaping a better future by leading the next building revolution; and ZURU Edge is pioneering new-generation FMCG brands to better serve modern consumers.
π Founded in 2003 by EY Entrepreneur of the Year and World Entrepreneur Hall of Fame brothers Nick and Mat Mowbray, ZURU has quickly grown to a team of over 5,000 direct and indirect members across more than 30 international locations.
ABOUT ZURU EDGE π
ZURU Edge is the FMCG arm of ZURU Group - a founder-led, vertically integrated business that designs, manufactures and sells its own consumer brands. We do not acquire heritage brands and manage their decline; we build new ones and put them into retail at a speed most consumer goods companies cannot match. Rascals, Millie Moon, Monday Haircare, Daise, Gumi Yum Surprise and Bonkers all compete in categories where execution and pace decide the winner.
π YOUR ROLE:
This is a commercial role with an analytical core. You will start as the person who understands the numbers behind the business - sell-in, sell-out, distribution, promotional performance, forecast - and you will move steadily towards owning customer relationships and the revenue that comes with them.
This is deliberately not a back-office analyst role. If you want to build a career in data or finance, this is the wrong job. If you want to be a Key Account Manager and understand that the best ones are the ones who know their numbers cold, this is a good place to start.
You will work in close and cross-functional collaboration with our global teams.
In this role, you will directly report to the Head of Sales Benelux and Nordics.
π CORE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Territory analytics & insight (β50%)
Own weekly and monthly sell-in and sell-out reporting for the territory β by market, customer, brand and SKU β and be able to explain why every meaningful movement happened.
Track retail sell-through, distribution (stores ranged, TDPs), in-stock rates and units-per-store velocity across retail and distributor partners; flag stock and availability risks before they turn into lost sales or returns.
Build and maintain the promotional calendar, and run post-promotion evaluations: what the uplift was, what it cost, and whether we would do it again.
Support the monthly demand forecast and the regional P&L review β variance to budget, forecast accuracy, and the mix and margin drivers behind the result.
Turn analysis into customer-ready material: category stories, range review arguments, and the fact base behind a listing proposal.
Commercial execution & account ownership (β30%)
Own a defined set of smaller retail accounts and distributor partners β order flow, range, pricing within agreed guardrails, promotional plan and quarterly business reviews. This starts in your first year, not at the end of it.
Support the sales team on the region's largest customers: prepare the negotiation fact base, build the range and promotional proposal, join the meetings, and follow up on what was agreed.
Prepare for and take part in customer meetings, category and range reviews, and joint business planning.
Drive new listings and distribution gains β in under-developed markets, in growing channels, and for brands not yet ranged with an existing customer.
Work with Brand and Marketing on launch plans, in-store activation and sampling, and make sure product is on shelf when the campaign goes live.
Sales operations & coordination (β20%)
Own customer masterdata, pricing and article set-up for the territory.
Coordinate with Supply Chain and Customer Service on the order book, allocations, delivery windows and open orders.
Manage new line forms, retailer portals and listing documentation across Benelux and Nordics.
Track trade spend and rebates for the territory together with Finance.
π‘ SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-2 years experience as a sales or category analyst ideally within FMCG.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced: PivotTables, XLOOKUP, modelling) and ability to build clean, insight-led slides in PowerPoint. Experience in Power BI is a plus.
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple data streams and deadlines simultaneously.
- Confident communicator who can distil complex data into clear, concise insights for non-analytical audiences.
- Structured and analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Ability to travel within Europe as needed.
β WHAT WE OFFER:
Competitive salary.
Regions with room to grow. You will not be maintaining someone else's account base. There is measurable whitespace across eight markets and help closing it will be visibly your work.
Unusual breadth, early. Direct exposure to senior commercial leadership, and visibility across analytics, negotiation, brand and supply chain in one role.
Brands people notice. A portfolio in fast-moving categories, launched and scaled at a pace few FMCG businesses can match
