Sales Analytics Intern

We are now looking for another team member to join us in the Sales Analytics Team as a Sales Analytics Intern. The team supports the Sales Analytics and Customer Service Departments and plays an important role in analysing sales performance and supporting commercial processes.

What you'll be doing

As part of a structured training project, you will learn about the preparation of commercial proposals and how to analyse and interpret sales statistics.

In particular, you will be involved in:

  • Learning the Knauf Italia sales process and commercial policy;

  • Learning how to manage the price list, including the policy and structure of the discounts applied;

  • Learning the criteria and methods used for customer segmentation;

  • Learning how to use the internal ERP system;

  • Supporting the update of customer databases and the related discounts applied;

  • Learning how to use the CRM system and the tools required to monitor sales opportunities and commercial offers;

  • Supporting the preparation of periodic sales-performance reports;

  • Verifying the accuracy and timely issuance of sales reports;

  • Supporting the implementation of international projects, with guidance from your tutor and more senior team members;

  • Supporting month-end financial closing activities.

What we'd love for you to have

  • University degree, preferably in Economics, Business Administration, Statistics or a related field;

  • Good knowledge of English;

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint;

  • Familiarity with Business Analytics tools and principles;

  • A commercial and analytical approach;

  • Ability to listen carefully and communicate effectively;

  • Strong problem-solving skills;

  • A proactive attitude and ability to organise work by prioritising activities;

  • Desire to grow professionally and learn.

If you have experience in the following areas, this is an added advantage

  • Knowledge of Salesforce;

  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems;

  • Previous academic or practical experience in sales analysis, commercial operations, Business Analytics or reporting.
