Sales and Purchase Shipbroker

We are looking for an individual to join our Sales and Purchase Shipbroker Team.

The job scope of a Shipbroker is to act as specialist intermediaries/negotiators between ship owners of a vessel or to buy/sell on behalf of his clients.

Responsibilities would include

• Negotiating and fixing of ships.
• Marketing tonnages to clients
• Maintaining a database of vessel positions, tonnage, rates, and cargos.
• Monitoring the direction of the markets and advise clients accordingly to maximise profits.
• Expanding and developing contacts with principals from both Owners and Charterers.
• Preparing charter parties and other necessary fixture documentation, where required.
• Develop new customer base whilst building strong relationship with existing customers.
• Provide market updates and research for clients.
