Responsibilities

• Welcome every customer who walks through our doors with a friendly smile and a helpful attitude.
• Listen to customer needs and provide clear, practical advice on projects ranging from plumbing repairs to lawn care.
• Maintain organized aisles and ensure our shelves are well-stocked so neighbors can find exactly what they need.
• Operate the point-of-sale system accurately to process purchases, returns, and exchanges.
• Participate in receiving new shipments and ensuring products are accurately tagged and displayed.
• Collaborate with the rest of the team to keep the store clean, safe, and inviting for everyone in Armada.

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk on the sales floor for the duration of a shift.
• Comfort with lifting, carrying, and stocking merchandise weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Basic math and computer skills for handling transactions and inventory lookups.
• Prior experience in retail or customer service settings is helpful but not mandatory.
• Flexible availability including weekends and occasional evening hours.
• Genuine interest in home improvement, gardening, or DIY projects.
