Sales Assistant
Key Responsibilities
Generate and qualify sales leads through outreach, referrals, networking, events, and partnerships.
Conduct discovery calls and meetings to understand clients’ business and technology requirements.
Recommend suitable IT services, software solutions, digital platforms, and technology solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with SMEs, corporate clients, business owners, and decision-makers.
Identify relevant government and private-sector tender opportunities.
Prepare and submit tender documents, proposals, quotations, presentations, and supporting requirements.
Coordinate with technical, project, and management teams to prepare accurate and competitive proposals.
Ensure all tender submissions are complete, compliant, and submitted within the required deadlines.
Follow up on leads, proposals, quotations, tenders, and ongoing sales opportunities.
Prepare regular sales activity, pipeline, and performance reports for management.
Requirements
Experience in B2B sales, business development, technology, digital services, or consulting is preferred.
Candidates without direct experience are welcome if they are passionate about sales and willing to learn.
Experience with tenders, proposals, or quotations is an advantage.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Goal-oriented, organised, proactive, and able to manage follow-ups independently.
Comfortable communicating with business owners, senior stakeholders, and decision-makers.
