The Company…

The company is a well-recognised supplier of sheet metal, sawing, fabrication and engineering machinery, tools, parts and equipment to the mining, industrial and construction industry. They provide precision in their steadfast service with an outstanding range of selected products to meet the required expectations of their clients from decades of industry experience.

Having built a strong reputation from decades of providing exceptional services, they are now seeking to employ an additional Sales Representative/ Business Development Manager with experience in fabrication/ sheet metal machinery, equipment or supplies.

The Position…

The position involves maximising opportunities by developing strong relationships with new and existing customers. You will be required to meet with customers on-site and provide technical information regarding the company's machinery, tools and supplies. You will need to ensure a pro-active sales pipeline, while maintaining follow-ups with customers new leads so that each job can eventuate with maximum efficiency and in accordance with the company’s specified time frames around product specification and machinery delivery.

Part of the role also includes utilising the company’s communication system and database to accurately record and update detailed information, to ensure effective internal communication between relevant departments.

The Ideal Candidate…

• Will have previous experience working with machinery, spare parts, tools or supplies in mining, construction, sheet metal, laser cutting, fabrication or engineering.
  
• Be Professional, well-spoken and strong in liaising with customers.
  
• Be driven to succeed and motivated to perform.
