Sales Consultant

The Sales Consultant position requires consistent ‘closing’ of sales, increasing sales, and maximizing revenues. Sales associates act as part of a cohesive and ambitious team and must communicate effectively with the General Manager, other members of the Sales Team, and customers to maintain a seamless and efficient operation.

The position entails following-up with previous and potential customers (no cold-calling), posting new vehicles on various listing websites, scheduling appointments with customers, 'sealing the deal', and maintaining a positive customer-dealer relationship post-sale.

Job Requirements:

• Working knowledge and experience with the automotive industry is a must.
• Demonstrated track record of success in sales and customer relations is expected.
• Comfort being a part of social media and marketing campaigns. Our followers love to see our team on Social Media.
• A BS/BA in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
• Pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Ability to lift and carry 25lbs.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with building rapport, establishing trust, and earning customer loyalty.

• The ability to address customer needs in a prompt, polite, and effective manner.

• Capacity to work closely with the Social Media and Marketing Teams to continually improve niche in market; and assist in the development of messaging, sales tools, campaigns, promotions and other marketing plans.

• Willingness to prepare cars for sale; including fueling, moving, demoing, and inspecting vehicles.

• The ability to work cooperatively but competitively, leads are provided but sales associates are expected to pursue these opportunities and make those sales with minimal assistance.
