Sales Consultant

Role Purpose

As a Sales Consultant in our Bathroom Department at Leroy Merlin, you will be the face of our store, helping customers discover the right products and solutions for their projects while creating a positive and inspiring shopping experience. You will play a key role in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and building lasting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the face of Leroy Merlin in-store, engaging directly with customers

• Help customers identify products and solutions that fit their needs

• Create a positive, welcoming, and helpful shopping experience

• Drive in-store sales through effective product knowledge and customer interaction

• Deliver excellent customer service at all times

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships

• Contribute to customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty

• Support the overall performance and success of the store

Qualification and Experience

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.

• 1-2 years of retail sales experience, ideally in a customer-focused role.

• Skilled in sales techniques, negotiation, and rapport building.

• Knowledge of home improvement products is an asset.

• Comfortable using POS systems and basic computer applications.

• High level of accuracy and focus on detail, especially when managing displays and inventory.
