Sales Consultant - Peripheral Intervention & Interventional Cardiology | Cape Town
We are looking for a highly
motivated Sales Representative to join our clients Interventional
Systems team, covering the region of Cape Town to
focus on our Interventional Systems (IS) portfolio. Both Peripheral
Intervention and Interventional Cardiology.
The selected candidate will be
responsible for driving sales, maintaining key customer relationships, and
expanding our market presence in their respective fields.
1. Market and Product Knowledge
- Stay updated on market trends, competitive
landscape, and product positioning.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and
industry requirements.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure
appropriate product and technical support.
2. Sales and Profit Target Achievement
- Manage sales activities within the assigned product
group and territory.
- Work with the Sales Manager to set and achieve
sales targets and pricing strategies.
- Analyze challenges within the territory and propose
corrective actions.
- Contribute to achieving gross profit and overall
business development goals.
- Conduct market mapping to identify trends and
support strategic planning.
3. Implementation of Marketing & Sales Strategy
- Execute defined sales strategies and develop
tactical plans to enhance sales and profitability.
- Identify new sales opportunities and innovative
selling methods.
- Strengthen the sales channel and improve product
positioning.
- Manage and maintain relationships with Key
Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and industry stakeholders.
- Foster relationships with external authorities,
organizations, and regulatory bodies.
4. Congresses & Industry Events
- Represent the company at local conferences,
congresses, and trade shows.
- Engage with industry professionals and potential
clients at events.
5. Training & Development
- Organize and conduct training programs for both
internal teams and external customers.
- Identify training needs in collaboration with
the Product Manager to enhance technical knowledge.
6. Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs
(QA/RA)
- Handle customer complaints in compliance with
company protocols.
7. Reporting & General Responsibilities
- Submit detailed monthly reports to ensure seamless
communication.
- Act as a company representative in various external
engagements.
- Take on additional responsibilities as required for
new business opportunities.
Requirements
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of
relevant work experience in a similar role.
- Sales Skills: Proven knowledge of sales
techniques and customer relationship management.
- Industry Network: Preferably connected
with Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, or Interventional
Cardiologists based on the portfolio focus.
- Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the local
healthcare market is a strong advantage.
