Sales Consultant
The Sales Consultant is responsible for promoting and selling the company’s cord blood and tissue banking services to consumers in a professional, ethical, and compliant manner.
This role involves direct engagement with parents through events, roadshows, clinics, and other approved channels, providing accurate information, guiding customers through the enrolment process, and ensuring a positive and trustworthy customer experience.
The Sales Consultant plays a key role in achieving sales targets while upholding high service standards in a regulated healthcare environment.
Sales & Customer Engagement
• Promote and explain the company’s services and products clearly and accurately to consumers
• Engage customers professionally at events, exhibitions, clinics, and other approved platforms
• Conduct sales consultations and guide customers through the sign-up process
• Achieve individual sales and enquiry generation targets
• Build trust and rapport with customers through ethical and transparent communication
Product Knowledge & Compliance
• Maintain strong knowledge of company services, processes, and regulatory requirements
• Ensure all sales activities are conducted in compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations
• Follow approved sales scripts, materials, and documentation procedures
• Participate in all required training and compliance briefings
Documentation & Administration
• Ensure accurate completion and submission of all customer forms, contracts, and supporting documents
• Maintain proper records of sales activities and customer interactions
• Support internal audits and compliance checks through proper documentation
Service Excellence
• Provide a positive and professional customer experience throughout the sales journey
• Work closely with the Customer Service team to ensure smooth handover after sales
• Handle basic customer enquiries and escalate complex issues appropriately
Events & Activations
• Participate in company events, exhibitions, roadshows, and weekend activations when required
• Support event setup, customer engagement, and post-event follow-up activities
Teamwork & Continuous Improvement
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve team goals
• Accept coaching and feedback to continuously improve sales and service performance
• Support any additional duties or initiatives assigned by the Service Operations Manager
Job Requirement
- Diploma or equivalent qualification (Degree is an advantage)
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in:
- o Sales
- o Customer service
- o Healthcare, insurance, financial services, or related industries (preferred)
- Strong interest in healthcare services and client education
- Comfortable engaging with consumers in a consultative sales environment
- Willing to work weekends and participate in events when required
