SALES CONSULTANT - UNCAPPED COMMISSION

Basic salary: R22,000 per month
Commission: Uncapped commission based on monthly revenue and enrolment targets

A well-established education and training provider is looking for a dynamic, results-driven Sales Consultant to manage and convert inbound leads generated by its outsourced marketing function.

The successful candidate will engage prospective students and corporate clients, understand their training requirements and recommend suitable learning programmes. The role covers short ICT courses, skills programmes and full-time QCTO qualifications, with a strong focus on securing registrations, payments and a smooth handover to internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Contact assigned leads promptly by telephone, email, WhatsApp or virtual meeting

  • Qualify prospects by establishing their training needs, interests, eligibility, budget, preferred delivery method, location and decision timeline

  • Advise clients on short ICT courses, including ITIL, Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA and Huawei programmes

  • Provide accurate information on full-time QCTO qualifications and skills programmes

  • Explain programme outcomes, certification or qualification status, entry requirements, duration, schedules, delivery methods, fees and payment terms

  • Prepare and send accurate quotations, proposals, schedules, registration forms and payment instructions

  • Conduct presentations and meetings with individuals, employers and corporate clients where required

  • Handle objections and negotiate within approved commercial parameters

  • Cross-sell and upsell relevant programmes or learning pathways based on verified client needs

  • Secure completed registrations and payments

  • Handover confirmed clients to the appropriate internal teams

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records

  • Prioritise opportunities and manage an active sales pipeline

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with individuals, employers and organisations

  • Support a professional and efficient client onboarding experience

  • Assist with sales reporting, forecasting and feedback on lead quality


Requirements

• Minimum qualification: Matric or Grade 12
  • Proven sales experience, preferably within education, training, ICT or a related service industry

  • Knowledge of ICT short courses and QCTO qualifications would be advantageous

  • Strong consultative sales and solution-selling ability

  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills

  • Target-driven with a strong results orientation

  • Strong follow-up and objection-handling skills

  • High level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality

  • Proficiency in CRM systems such as Zoho, HubSpot or similar

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Able to work independently and manage multiple leads effectively
