About the Opportunity
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for conducting sales activities to promote Academy products and programs. Reporting to the Associate Director of Travel Industry Sales, and helps the Academy achieve annual revenue goals.

This position is based in San Francisco, California. The specific onsite/hybrid schedule for this position is listed below. This position is part of a bargaining unit represented by Cal Academy Workers United, and will be subject to the terms and conditions of that contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend tradeshows, community events, and other tabling opportunities to actively promote Academy programs and products
- Research new sales channels and opportunities to promote and sell Academy programs
- Research new strategic partners for sponsorship and marketing partnerships for Academy programs
- Utilize Salesforce to record all sales activities and communications, and upload and segment lead lists
- Manage sales email accounts and phone lines, and ensure timely follow-up to product inquiries, and qualify inbound inquiries where applicable
- Work with Academy program stakeholders to get program information to properly promote products
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) to book Academy program sales and update CRM systems, including Tessitura and Salesforce
- Assist with on-site group coordination and work orders for all sales programs
- Assist with NightLife programming research and with NightLife logistics, completing work orders as required, and attend NL events to assist with event execution as required
- Assist with all aspects of sales programs as needed, including but not limited to licensing, membership, tours, events, tourism, NL, Education, and new products
- Process payments and vendor agreements for the Sales departments
- Ability to attend evening and weekends events and travel within the nine Bay Area counties is required
- Other research assignments for revenue generation as assigned

Qualifications: A successful candidate will have the following:
- Two years’ sales or marketing experience with direct customer engagement
- Excellent communication skills
- Creative and out-of-the-box thinker
- Naturally self-disciplined, tenacious, practical, and results-oriented

Compensation and Benefits:
The hourly range for this position is $27.64- $28.76. Actual compensation will be commensurate with the final candidate's qualifications and experience, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, certifications and aligned with the internal peer group. We believe in fair and equitable compensation practices and are committed to providing competitive salaries within the industry and market standards. The Academy offers a total compensation package that emphasizes both base salary and comprehensive benefits based on the hours per week worked. Further details regarding compensation and benefits will be discussed during the interview process.
Schedule: Full-Time, Hybrid, 40 hours per week
