Sales Coordinator

The Sales Coordinator delivers a seamless experience for trueCABLE's business account customers from the moment they become a customer through every order that follows. This role owns the day to day execution behind net terms accounts, including credit application intake, order entry, order confirmation, and issue resolution. They ensure our customers always feel supported and prioritized.


Working directly with the Director of Sales and the sales team, this position helps optimize and scale our B2B processes as we grow. The Sales Coordinator serves as a trusted, primary point of contact for customer procurement teams, and partners closely with Finance, Customer Success, and Warehouse Operations to make sure business orders are entered accurately, shipped on time, and communicated clearly.


Responsibilities:

Account Setup & Onboarding

  • Manage net terms applications from intake through credit approval, partnering with Finance and communicating decisions back to the customer
  • Administer the company's B2B payment and credit platform including customer approvals, credit limit changes, refunds, and account updates
  • Complete new account onboarding requirements including vendor forms, W-9s, certificates of insurance, supplier portal registrations, tax exemption forms, and automation rules
  • Create and maintain complete customer profiles in company systems including contacts, pricing, shipping preferences, and tax setup


Quoting and Order Management

  • Build and send quotes including volume pricing, lead times, and freight including follow up to move them toward an order
  • Enter purchase orders accurately and promptly, verifying pricing, part numbers, quantities, and terms
  • Manage customer procurement portals including retrieving purchase orders, uploading order confirmations and invoices, acknowledging orders, and maintaining required documents
  • Provide order confirmations and keep customers updated on ship dates, tracking, and changes
  • Compile and send shipment tracking to customers, including multi-parcel shipments, and help improve tracking automation over time
  • Troubleshoot out of stock situations by checking availability, offering substitutions, and coordinating split or staged shipments
  • Schedule and track blanket order releases against committed quantities
  • Proactively communicate directly with customer procurement teams on large orders, long lead time items, and delivery requirements


Customer Support & Process

  • Serve as first point of contact for business account questions and escalate to the right internal owner when needed
  • Coordinate with Warehouse Operations to ensure special customer requirements are communicated and executed correctly
  • Collaborate with technical team members to provide customers with technical product support
  • Coordinate returns, replacements, and warranty claims from initial request through credit
  • Track and share recurring customer feedback to help improve products and customer experience
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures as these processes are built and refined
  • Support additional projects as needed to support evolving sales and business priorities


Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in sales, sales support, account coordination, or customer service
  • Experience working in an ERP or order management system is required
  • Familiarity with Brightpearl, Gorgias, Aircall or a CRM is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. This role communicates daily with customers and procurement teams over email and by phone
  • Strong organization skills and a keen attention to detail are required
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines at once
  • Genuine curiosity and the desire to learn. We are ever-changing and need team members who are innovative and adaptable
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team
  • Track record of successfully working from home or remotely is a plus
  • Some travel required, max 3 trips per year


This is a full-time, fully remote position that will work regular business hours, Monday through Friday.


Physical requirements:

  • Sitting for most of the work shift, constantly operating a computer with extended hours viewing a computer screen, constant use of fingers, hands, and arms for typing, ability to regularly talk and hear, occasionally lift, push or pull 25 pounds, occasional bending or reaching.
