What you will be responsible for
Aro Homes is seeking a Sales & Customer Care Representative to support transaction coordination and customer experience across the Bay Area, with a focus on the South Bay Area. This role serves as a key point of contact throughout the buy-side and sell-side transaction process — managing disclosures, timelines, and loan documentation — while also owning the customer relationship from initial inquiry through post-closing engagement. You'll be the friendly, organized presence homeowners and neighbors rely on, and a coordinating force between development, sales, and site teams. Candidates must be local to the San Francisco Bay Area; this is a hybrid, in-office role.
The ideal candidate is personable, highly organized, and detail-oriented, with a genuine passion for delivering a great customer experience in real estate. You'll report directly to the Director of Sales and collaborate closely with the Acquisitions, Real Estate, and Permitting teams to ensure smooth transactions and strong relationships with homeowners, neighbors, and the broader community.
What you'll do
This role is roughly split between sales/transaction support and acquisitions support:
Coordinate buy-side and sell-side transactions from contract to close
Manage disclosure review and timeline checklists
Process loan documentation and maintain ongoing communication with lenders
Serve as a professional, responsive point of contact via the Aro Homes alias
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams on deposits, closings, and related milestones
Monitor and respond to inbound website inquiries
Manage neighbor relations for active and upcoming sites
Coordinate activities spanning development, site work, and sales
Oversee social media posts and account management
Support in-person sales and acquisitions events, including prep and community engagement
Lead homeowner engagement post-closing, including post-sale walkthroughs and ongoing communication
What do you bring
Strong file and document management
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
Able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Tactical, solutions-oriented mindset
Friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused
Marketing experience a plus
Qualifications
Support or transactional real estate experience
2–5 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, business development, land development, brokerage, planning, or a related field
Demonstrated experience in customer support and transaction management, ideally within real estate, escrow, or a related client-facing environment
Strong understanding of residential real estate markets and development fundamentals
Excellent interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills
Strong analytical and research capabilities, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations
Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and opportunity identification
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM platforms
Ability to travel throughout the Bay Area for meetings, site visits, and networking events
Real estate license a plus
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working for a residential homebuilder, real estate developer, brokerage, or land acquisition team
Existing network of realtor, broker, or development industry relationships
Experience with market research, GIS tools, or real estate data platforms
