Sales Customer Support Associate
The Direct Distribution Associate supports daily customer shipments while providing a high level of service to customers, distributors, retailers, and the sales team. This role coordinates and monitors orders, maintains accurate customer and shipment data, resolves issues, and communicates with internal and external partners to ensure orders and commitments are completed accurately and on time. The position requires strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and customer service skills.

Purpose Of This Position
The purpose of this position is to ensure direct distribution orders and shipments are processed accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional support to customers, distributors, retailers, and the sales team. This role helps maintain strong customer relationships by monitoring orders, resolving issues, maintaining accurate data, and ensuring customer commitments are met.
What You’ll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, monitor, and follow up on daily customer orders and shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Verify and approve daily buyback shipments through the Supplier Web Portal.
- Provide responsive customer service and support to customers, distributors, retailers, and the sales team.
- Create, track, and resolve customer and order-related issues through Zendesk.
- Maintain accurate customer, product, sourcing, and retailer information within company systems.
- Track order activity, dealer changes, participation, inventory, and promotional programs.
- Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to direct distribution activities.
- Communicate and collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
What You’ll Need to Succeed in this Role
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 -3 years of clerical experience
- PC skills including data entry, word processing, and spreadsheet creation/modification
- Excellent customer service skills including a positive attitude, good communication, time management, and a high level of accuracy
- Work well with team members, customers, and vendors
