Sales Development Associate (B2C)
Description
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively reach out to OOm Institute's existing database of past learners, leads that were not converted, and lapsed or MIA enquiries to re-engage them with our courses.
Make a high volume of outbound calls daily (80 or more), and follow up every unanswered call with a WhatsApp message.
Work every assigned record to a clear outcome, with a minimum of 3 contact attempts across at least 2 channels within each 10-working-day cycle.
Tailor each conversation to the lead's history, such as next-course recommendations for past learners and funding or schedule updates for unconverted leads.
Hold short, consultative conversations to understand each person's current role, career goals and learning needs.
Qualify leads on interest, timing, budget and funding route (e.g. SkillsFuture Credit, company sponsorship), and set qualified appointments directly into our Skills Development Advisors' calendars.
Confirm every appointment and send timely reminders to maximise show-up rates.
Hand over complete notes (goals, past course or enquiry, funding status, objections) so Skills Development Advisors can follow up and close the sale.
Achieve weekly and monthly qualified appointment targets.
Maintain accurate CRM records by logging every call, message and outcome on the same day, and flagging wrong numbers, duplicates and outdated records.
Ensure all outreach complies with PDPA and Do Not Call (DNC) requirements, provide accurate course and funding information, and respect opt-out requests.
Requirements:
No prior experience required. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Candidates with exposure to telesales, cold-calling, telemarketing, or customer service will have an added advantage.
Strong spoken and written English, and confident speaking to strangers over the phone. Ability to speak any other languages is a plus.
Resilient and target-driven; comfortable with a high daily outbound call volume and an incentive-based role.
Proficient in tech tools such as CRM systems, WhatsApp Business and Google Workspace.
Familiarity with SkillsFuture funding schemes, PDPA and the Do Not Call registry is an advantage.
