Sales Development Representative

Sales Development Representative

Manchester / Hybrid

Up to £30k base salary + uncapped commission

Learning is now one of the biggest priorities for organisations, with around £4 billion invested annually in the UK alone. The market continues to grow rapidly, driven by AI, compliance, upskilling, and workforce reskilling.

Yet many organisations still struggle to deliver engaging, agile learning experiences because of limited functionality and inflexible technology.

Our client is a leading learning experience consultancy. Designing and building custom learning experiences that sit alongside or enhance existing platforms, helping organisations such as The Coca-Cola Company, The LEGO Group and Tesco close the gap between the digital experiences people have at work and those they enjoy at home.

As an SDR you'll play a key role in driving growth by creating and converting new business opportunities.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll engage with senior decision-makers, confirm their challenges, and introduce them to solutions that genuinely add value.

  • Research and identify HR Directors, Chief People Officers and Heads of L&D at UK organisations with 500+ employees
  • Collaborate with our marketing specialist to refine messaging and strategy to build awareness of our offering and support your sales success
  • Build and test an effective blend of ways to start conversations with targets – outbound calls, targeted emails, networking events, conference speaking
  • Use the frustrations they have with existing HR Technology or Learning Platform to book meetings and demonstrations

What we’re looking for

  • Two+ years’ proven experience in outbound B2B sales
  • Strong listening, and influencing skills
  • Stay-ability, drive, and a hunger to succeed
  • Confidence using CRM systems and digital sales tools
  • A growth mindset with ambition to progress and develop your career

What you’ll get in return

  • Up to £30k base salary + uncapped commission
  • Various commission schemes to earn
  • 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) + your birthday off
  • Personal budget to spend on training of your choice
  • Regular incentives, team socials, and performance recognition
  • Hybrid working – home working balanced with time in the office

Why learning

  • The number one priority for most organisations
  • Pain points increasing with pace of AI and risk
  • Double digit year-on-year growth in investment in learning and learning tech

Why this company

  • Award winning HR Technology Consultancy
  • Fantastic BlueChip client list including DHL, Hiscox, Coke, Lego, Tesco
  • Informal, friendly, supportive culture
  • Central Manchester office
  • Ambitious for growth in a big growth market
  • Big enough to be known in the market
  • Small enough for you to make a massive personal difference
