Sales Development Representative

Open 65d posting dated 2 weeks ago

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

At Snowflake, we are building the future of the data-driven enterprise. We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (Inbound) who operates with a seller mindset, responds with speed and precision to inbound demand, and is driven by revenue impact — not just activity metrics.

This is not a traditional SDR role focused on meeting bookings. You will be Snowflake's first point of contact for enterprise buyers who have already raised their hand — through demo requests, trial signups, content downloads, event registrations, and partner referrals. Your job is to qualify that interest fast, engage with insight, and convert it into high-quality pipeline alongside Account Executives.

The person we are looking for shares our passion about reinventing the data platform and thrives in a high-volume, high-variety environment. That means bringing structure and judgement to every inbound interaction, maintaining deep knowledge of Snowflake's platform and competitive landscape, and partnering tightly with both Marketing and Sales to close the loop between demand and revenue.

AS A SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (INBOUND) AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

  • Respond to and qualify inbound leads with speed — time-to-first-contact and lead conversion are your primary performance signals

  • Triage and prioritise inbound demand using account intelligence, intent data, and Snowflake product usage signals

  • Engage enterprise stakeholders with value-led, insight-driven conversations that reflect genuine understanding of their business context

  • Qualify opportunities rigorously — identify fit, budget, authority, timeline, and technical need before passing to Account Executives

  • Partner with Marketing to close the MQL-to-SQL loop — share feedback on lead quality, messaging resonance, and conversion patterns

  • Partner closely with Account Executives to hand off warm, well-qualified opportunities and support early deal progression

  • Develop a strong understanding of Snowflake's data platform, use cases, and the value it delivers to enterprise customers

  • Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene — accurate lead status, activity logging, and pipeline reporting to enable data-driven decisions

OUR IDEAL SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (INBOUND) WILL HAVE:

  • 2+ years of experience in inbound sales, inside sales, or SDR roles with inbound lead responsibility

  • Demonstrated experience managing and qualifying inbound lead volume across multiple channels (web, events, trials, referrals)

  • Familiarity with lead qualification frameworks such as BANT, MEDDIC, or similar, applied to inbound motions

  • Experience working alongside a Marketing team and understanding the MQL/SQL handoff process

  • Experience engaging with enterprise accounts is a strong plus

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to adapt tone and depth to different buyer personas

  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and sales engagement platforms such as Outreach or Salesloft

  • Curiosity about the technical and business side of data and AI ecosystems

  • Ambition to grow into an Account Executive role and readiness to earn that progression

Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
