About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded individual looking to build a successful career in enterprise software sales.
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be responsible for generating qualified sales leads across target accounts within the financial services industry. Acting as the bridge between Sales and Solution Consultants, you will engage prospective customers, identify business challenges, book meetings, qualify leads, and create meaningful conversations that drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities & Deliverables
Your duties as a Sales Development Representative will include, but are not limited to:
- Prospect, engage, and qualify target accounts, converting interest into introductory meetings and discovery conversations with our Sales and Solution Consulting team.
- Generate qualified sales leads through proactive outbound prospecting activities across target accounts.
- Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities and determine alignment with target customer profiles and business priorities.
- Research and prioritize target organizations to identify key stakeholders, business initiatives, technology investments, and potential opportunities.
- Engage prospective customers through a structured multi-channel outreach approach including phone, email, LinkedIn, webinars, events, and marketing campaigns.
- Identify customer challenges, business objectives, and buying signals through effective discovery and qualification.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior decision makers and influencers across complex organizations.
- Align closely with Marketing to execute campaigns and ensure relevant messaging reaches target audiences.
- Align closely with the Sales Team to drive account penetration strategies and opportunity progression.
- Maintain accurate prospect, activity, account, and opportunity information within CRM systems.
- Maintain high standards of follow-up discipline with prospects.
- Remain current on industry trends, market developments, competitor activities, and company solutions.
- Participate in training programs, events, webinars, trade shows, and industry forums as required.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly targets related to meetings booked & qualified opportunities created.
- Report regularly on activity levels, pipeline generation, opportunity progression, and overall business development performance to the Business Development Manager.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, lead generation, sales development, inside sales, or a related commercial role.
- English language proficiency (written and verbal) is required.
- German language proficiency is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting and business-to-business sales engagement.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with senior stakeholders.
- Strong prospecting, account research, and qualification skills.
- Ability to identify customer needs and articulate compelling business value.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and follow-up discipline.
- Resilient, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
- Ability to prioritize multiple activities while maintaining a high level of execution quality.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
