ROLE PURPOSE

Win new Energy, Resources and Public Sector clients for Taggd — selling RPO and project-based hiring solutions to CHROs and Talent Acquisition Heads across Energy, Metals and Natural Resources, PSUs, Government and the Development Sector, and closing enterprise deals of 1 Crore and above against a 5 Crore annual new sales revenue target.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

New Business Acquisition

  • Own the 5 Crore annual sales target, delivered primarily through new logos in the assigned segment.
  • Build and work a named list of target accounts, and open conversations with senior HR and business leadership through referrals, events and direct outreach.
  • Track new energy and renewables projects, capacity additions, mining and metals expansions, PSU recruitment plans, and government and development programme roll-outs, and reach HR leadership before hiring plans are finalised.
  • Position Taggd for project and site hiring, engineering, technical and operations roles, programme and field roles, and specialist and leadership hiring.
  • Build relationships across energy and resources industry bodies, PSU and government HR networks, and development-sector forums.

Solution Selling and Deal Closure

  • Run a consultative sales process — understand the client's hiring plan, volumes, roles and pain points before proposing a solution.
  • Sell Taggd's RPO and Project-based Hiring solutions, positioning TARA-backed (AI) and non-TARA offerings based on what each client needs.
  • Build business cases, proposals and commercial models for deals of 1 Crore and above, working with the solutioning and delivery teams.
  • Lead pricing, commercial negotiation and contracting through to signature, protecting deal margins.
  • Track and respond to RFPs, EOIs and tenders, including on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) and other public procurement channels, working with the bid and solutioning teams.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders across HR, Talent Acquisition, Procurement, Finance and business leadership through 3–4 month sales cycles.

Pipeline and Forecasting

  • Maintain a qualified pipeline with enough coverage to meet the annual target, with every opportunity updated in the CRM each week.
  • Forecast bookings each month and quarter, and review pipeline health, deal stage and risks with the AVP – Sales.
  • Track win and loss reasons on every closed opportunity and use them to sharpen targeting and positioning.

Market Presence and Network

  • Build and sustain a strong network of CHROs, Talent Acquisition Heads and senior HR leaders in the segment.
  • Represent Taggd at industry events, HR leadership forums and client round tables.
  • Share market intelligence — hiring trends, competitor activity and client priorities — with Sales leadership and the solutioning team.

Internal Collaboration and Handover

  • Work with the delivery and solutioning teams so that every proposal can be delivered as sold.
  • Hand over each closed deal to the delivery team with a signed contract, an agreed scope and a kick-off plan.
  • Stay involved through implementation and early delivery so that the client relationship holds and the account can grow.

TOP KPIS

  • Annual Bookings: Contract value closed against the annual new sales revenue target — Target: 5 Crores per year
  • New Logos: New enterprise clients signed in the segment — Target: As agreed with AVP – Sales
  • Pipeline Coverage: Qualified pipeline value against the remaining annual target — Target: 3x or more, reviewed monthly
  • Win Rate: Qualified opportunities converted to signed contracts — Target: As agreed with AVP – Sales
  • CXO Meetings: Meetings held with CHROs, TA Heads and business leaders at target accounts — Target: As agreed with AVP – Sales, tracked monthly
  • Forecast Accuracy: Quarterly bookings forecast against actual bookings — Target: Within ±10%
  • Deal Handover: Closed deals handed to delivery with signed contract, scope and kick-off — Target: 100% of closed deals
  • CRM Hygiene: Opportunities with current stage, value and next step in the CRM — Target: 100%, updated weekly

CANDIDATE PROFILE

This role suits a proven enterprise hunter who already has the network and the wins in this segment, not someone who is new to it. The successful candidate will:

  • Bring 10+ years of experience, with a consistent record of winning new logos in enterprise sales.
  • Has proven wins with Energy, Resources or Public Sector clients — closed enterprise deals with energy, metals or mining companies, PSUs, government bodies or development-sector organisations. This sector exposure is a requirement of the role, not a preference.
  • Have closed deals of 1 Crore and above through enterprise sales cycles of 3–4 months.
  • Come from an executive search or recruitment firm, or from a solution-selling company such as RPO, HR Tech or B2B services.
  • Understand public procurement and tender-led selling; experience with RFPs, EOIs and GeM is a strong advantage.
  • Have an established network of CHROs and Talent Acquisition Heads, and be able to open doors at that level from day one.
  • Communicate with clarity and confidence, in writing and in person, and be comfortable presenting business cases to CXO audiences.
  • Negotiate commercials and contracts with confidence, and manage several stakeholders on a single deal.
  • Work with discipline in a CRM, with accurate pipeline and forecasting.
  • Be based in Delhi NCR or the wider region, and be willing to travel to client locations as the account base requires — local candidates only.
  • Hold an MBA or a BE / BTech; a degree from a Tier-1 institute is preferred.

Taggd does not charge any fee at any stage of the recruitment process.
