Sales Engineer (based in Jakarta, Indonesia)

Role Summary: The Sales Engineer is a hybrid role bridging commercial strategy and technical expertise (60% Business Development / 40% Technical). You will drive the growth of our water and wastewater treatment solutions by identifying opportunities, leading tender processes, and delivering technical proposals that solve complex client challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead generation of Municipal projects, and market mapping for Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant (WTP/WWTP) projects across Indonesia.

• Develop projects with coordination with the engineering team for conceptual plant design, technology selection, and Operation & Maintenance studies.

• Manage the complete tender process, including drafting compelling proposals, delivering impactful client presentations, and negotiating commercial terms to close deals.

• Analyze client requirements to ensure technical feasibility.

• Perform basic process sizing and cost estimations, collaborating closely with the core engineering team to develop competitive, tailored EPC solutions.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.

• Experience: 5–10 years of proven track record in Water project sales, project engineering, or EPC, specifically within the water/wastewater treatment sector for mid to large scale municipal projects..

• Soft Skills: High resilience to manage strict tender deadlines, exceptional presentation skills, and strong commercial negotiation abilities.

• Language: Professional fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and Business English to navigate both local client interactions and international corporate communications.

• Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel frequently (25–40%) to project sites across Indonesia
