Field sales role selling engine generators (gensets) to commercial, industrial, institutional and government customers from Ernakulam, India. The engineer sizes genset capacity, prepares techno-commercial quotations, negotiates and closes orders, and coordinates delivery, installation and after-sales support. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Generate, qualify and convert leads for engine generators across commercial, industrial, institutional and government customers.
• Visit sites, understand load and duty requirements, and recommend suitable genset capacity, enclosure and accessories.
• Prepare quotations and techno-commercial offers in coordination with OEMs and the Manager – EGen, within approved pricing.
• Present offers, negotiate terms and close orders in line with company policy.
• Coordinate with OEMs/suppliers for delivery, installation and commissioning; keep customers informed on status.
• Support after-sales service, AMC and spares enquiries and customer follow-up.
• Support tender and documentation requirements for institutional and government orders.
• Maintain customer and dealer relationships and track competitor activity; report to the Manager – EGen.
• Maintain accurate records, documents and MIS reports; submit periodic reports to the reporting manager.
• Follow Hykon India Limited policies, quality, health & safety and information security practices.

Requirements
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in genset or power equipment sales; strong freshers may be considered.
• Willingness to travel.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
• Knowledge of genset sizing, kVA/kW ratings, ATS/AMF panels and installation requirements.
• Proposal preparation, MS Excel and MS Word. • Communication and negotiation skills in Malayalam and English.
