Sales Engineer

Summary

Technical sales role acting as a bridge between KodeKloud's DevOps/Cloud learning platform and enterprise customers, delivering demos, POCs, and onboarding while driving adoption and gathering feedback.

KodeKloud is one of the world's leading hands-on learning platforms for DevOps, Cloud, and Platform Engineering. Over a million engineers across the globe use our labs, playgrounds, and courses to build real skills on real systems - not just watch videos. We're a fully remote, fast-growing team on a mission to make hands-on tech learning accessible to every engineer and every enterprise.

As a Solution Engineer at KodeKloud, you'll be the technical bridge between our platform and our customers - from the first demo to full-scale adoption. You'll partner with Sales to run demos and proof-of-concepts for prospective enterprise clients, then stay engaged post-sale to drive onboarding, adoption, and long-term success. You'll work primarily with US-based clients but support customers across all regions, so flexibility across time zones is key.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives to deliver compelling product demos, technical presentations, and POCs tailored to enterprise needs
  • Own technical discovery: understand a client's upskilling goals, tech stack, and team structure, and map them to KodeKloud solutions
  • Respond to RFPs, security questionnaires, and technical evaluations
  • Lead post-sales onboarding: platform setup, SSO/integrations, learning path design, and admin enablement
  • Drive adoption and engagement - monitor usage, run business reviews, and proactively surface expansion opportunities
  • Act as the voice of the customer: channel feedback to Product and Engineering teams
  • Build reusable demo environments, playbooks, and technical collateral
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with Support/Engineering for resolution

Requirements

  • 2–4 years in a Solution Engineering, Sales Engineering, Customer Success Engineering, or DevOps/Cloud engineering role
  • Working knowledge of the DevOps and Cloud ecosystem - Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and at least one major cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills - you can explain technical concepts to both engineers and executives
  • Experience running demos, POCs, or customer onboarding for a SaaS or technical product
  • Strong ownership and a customer-first mindset - comfortable operating across pre-sales and post-sales
  • Ability to work US business hours, with flexibility to support clients in other regions when needed
  • Certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or cloud provider certifications
  • Experience with LMS/EdTech platforms or L&D buyers
  • Familiarity with SSO (SAML/OIDC), APIs, and enterprise integrations
  • Experience with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Gainsight

Benefits

  • Fully remote, by design: We're remote-first from day one. The team works from homes, co-working spaces, and everywhere in between - we care about outcomes, not hours logged. We do make time to meet in person for a few days each year.
  • Health & well-being: Comprehensive health coverage tailored to where you live, plus fully paid parental leave and flexible practices for the parts of life that don't fit into a calendar invite. We hire people for the long run, and we want them in good shape for it.
  • Learning & growth: Learning is our product, and it's how the team operates internally too. Everyone gets a dedicated annual learning budget and the time to use it - whether you're going deeper in your craft or picking up something new on the side.
  • Lifestyle support & flexibility: A flexible annual budget you can spend on what actually supports your life: fitness, meals, childcare, pet care, family support. Everyone's life looks different - we trust you to pick what helps.
