Sales Engineer & Software Developer for Welding Product
About the role
We are seeking a talented and results-driven Sales Engineer & Software Developer for Welding Product to join our team in East Jakarta. This is a full-time position that combines technical expertise with commercial acumen, playing a crucial role in driving the adoption of our welding software solutions and equipment in the market. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between our product development teams and our customers, ensuring that our welding solutions meet market needs and deliver tangible value to end users.
Key responsibilities
Develop and maintain software applications and tools specifically designed for welding equipment operations, diagnostics and optimisation
Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations of welding products and software solutions to prospective and existing customers
Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including system design consultation and implementation guidance
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, industrial partners and distributors in the welding sector
Conduct field testing and validation of new welding software features and functionality
Prepare technical documentation, user manuals and training materials for welding products and software
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
Having min. 2 years experiences in Technology or Welding industry
Demonstrated experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role, ideally in the manufacturing, industrial equipment or welding sector
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyse customer challenges and develop practical technical solutions
Proficiency in English is essential; additional proficiency in Indonesian is required
Familiar with Ms. Office especially for create the reporting
English active is a must
Have driving license
