Internal sales engineer role focused on valve products serving oil & gas, marine, and offshore clients: preparing quotations and purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, coordinating logistics, supporting tender documentation, and maintaining customer records in the company's CRM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle internal sales operations, including preparing quotations, processing purchase orders, and following up with customers on inquiries.
- Provide technical and commercial support to customers on valve products and solutions.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing, delivery schedules, and technical information.
- Coordinate with the logistics and procurement teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and timely delivery.
- Support external sales engineers with documentation, tender preparation, and customer proposals.
- Maintain and update customer records, quotations, and order status in the company’s CRM system.
- Work closely with the Sales Manager to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Internal sales experience in valves or valve-related products.
- Prior experience in oil & gas, marine, or offshore industries is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of valve types, applications, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.
