Sales Engineer (Welding Consumables)

• Position: Sales Engineer (Welding Consumables)
• Location: Bukit Batok
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm.
• Saturday: Half-day Saturday morning on rotational basis, about once a month
• Off-in-lieu: Half-day Friday afternoon off-in-lieu before rotational Saturday
• Salary: Basic salary up to $6,000 per month + AWS + average monthly commission of approximately $1,000–$2,000, depending on sales performance + transport allowance + 14 days annual leave + medical benefits
• Estimated gross monthly earnings: Approximately $6,000–$8,000 or more, depending on the basic salary offered and commission earned

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage sales of welding consumables to new and existing customers.
• Identify business opportunities and expand the customer base across relevant industries.
• Build strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, contractors and end users.
• Provide technical advice and product recommendations based on customer requirements.
• Conduct product presentations, sales visits and technical discussions with customers.
• Prepare quotations, follow up on enquiries and negotiate commercial terms.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer support.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to support sales strategy.
• Achieve sales targets and maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts and customer records.
• Support after-sales matters and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the welding consumables industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of welding consumables, applications and customer requirements.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required to communicate with customers who primarily use Mandarin.
• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence.
• Able to travel locally for customer visits. Transport allowance will be provided and discussed based on travel requirements.
