Sales Estimator - Commercial Playgrounds & Recreation

As a Commercial Playground & Recreation Sales Estimator, you can help lead the charge to restore active play areas throughout South Dakota. We’re interested in high-performing candidates with industry experience and top-notch people skills, who can build professional relationships with customers and community stakeholders and work collaboratively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and submit proposals for products and project installation within assigned territory.
• Interpret blueprints, scope takeoffs, prepare estimates and proposals.
• Following each sale, continue to work with customers to provide all submittals and change orders for changes in scope.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, field superintendents, and installation crews to see projects through to completion.
• Be able to work thru submittals and architectural specifications.
• Provide accurate cost estimations within budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction and/or playground industry.
• Understands and can perform all aspects of the estimation and proposal process.
• Strong verbal, social and written communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport and develop positive working relationships with customers and team members.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Estimating background required.
