  • Under the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales implements all sales activities and maximizes business opportunities in his / her specific area of responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of event planning, banquet operations, conference management, and guest service standards.
  • Proven ability to handle enquiries, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and coordinate events from planning to execution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.

  • Commercially minded with the ability to identify sales opportunities and achieve revenue targets.
  • To drive, manage and maintain robust positive relations with all key accounts and business partners and the hotel.
  • To work as a team member to create the most professional sales team in the hotel. To meet and exceed sales targets set in the monthly and yearly forecasts and to direct all efforts to maximizing the hotel’s revenues and profits in across all revenue streams specifically rooms, small meeting conference and food & beverage departments.
  • To develop network of contacts to encourage and secure hotel trial of key decision makers.
  • Generates and maintains customers of corporate segment through various sales activities (face to face sales calls, telephone calls, entertainment).
  • Maintains a high level of exposure for the hotel through direct sales, telephone and written communications.
  • To promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy and an extremely high standard of social skills.
  • To demonstrate pride in the workplace and personal appearance at all times when representing the hotel thus identifying a high level of commitment
  • Maintains the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, staff and employees.
  • Maintains professional business confidentiality.
  • To adhere to Company and Hotel rules and regulations at all times.
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Meetings & Events, Sales, Banquet Operations, or Event Management within the hospitality industry.
  • Previous experience in Middle East is preferred.
  • Experience with hotel PMS, sales and catering systems (Opera Cloud, Anis, Cvent, Passk, or similar platforms).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required by business demands.
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Customer-focused with exceptional service orientation.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead event planning meetings and coordinate with multiple departments.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions during event operations.
  • Team player with a proactive and results-driven attitude.
  • Excellent time management and follow-up skills.
