Sales Executive

Job Type: 3-Month Contract, with opportunity for full-time employment

About the Role

Checkoff Finance is seeking ambitious and results-driven Sales Executives with banking or financial services experience to drive sales, convert leads, and build strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales targets through lead conversion, follow-up, and customer engagement.
• Sell and promote loan, investment, and digital products.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Manage and follow up on leads to maximize conversions.
• Handle customer objections using effective sales techniques.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable financial solutions.
• Build strong relationships to support retention and repeat business.
• Maintain accurate customer information using the CRM system.
• Deliver excellent customer experience throughout the sales and onboarding process.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to improve customer onboarding and business performance.

Requirements

• Minimum of HND in a relevant discipline.
• Must have completed NYSC.
• Minimum of 2 years’ proven sales experience in banking or financial services.
• Previous banking experience is mandatory; Finance Company or FinTech experience is an advantage.
• Proven experience selling financial products, particularly loans, investments, or banking products.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Strong communication, persuasion, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Comfortable using technology and CRM tools.
• Highly self-driven, resilient, target-oriented, and able to manage time effectively.

Compensation & Benefits

• ₦150,000 net for candidates with 2 years of relevant sales experience.
• ₦250,000 net for candidates with 3–5+ years of relevant sales experience.
