Sales Executive

Job Purpose:

To achieve sales targets of the Company by managing and expanding business through assigned retail outlets, trade agents, and commercial houses. The role aims to maximize revenue, optimize the use of promotion, maintain market awareness, and build strong stakeholder relationships to contribute to the Company’s overall sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

The Sales Executive will be responsible for achieving assigned sales and revenue targets within thedesignated travel agent/market/territory, ensuring alignment with companyobjectives and timelines. The role involves implementing strategic salesinitiatives focused on travel agents, corporate clients, and retail partners todrive sustainable business growth. The incumbent will manage and optimizepromotional activities and point-of-sale materials to maximize market presenceand customer engagement. Continuous monitoring of market trends, competitor activities, and trade developments will be essential to maintain strong market intelligence and support data driven decision making. The position requires delivering presentations and conducting detailed monthly analyses of revenue and traffic performance by market, agent, route, and class mix, followed by the implementation of corrective measures to sustain or enhance market share. The Sales Executive is expected to perform minimum of 25 effective and well-structured sales calls per week, ensuring comprehensive customer coverage and strong relationship management. The role also involves preparing and submitting timely, data driven reports to management, utilizing the company’s prescribed tools to support strategic sales planning and performance improvement. Strong relationship-building skills with trade partners, outlet teams, and commercial associates are essential for success, coupled with the ability to leverage digital tools and analytics to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and maintain accurate administrative and performance records.

Qualifications Experience

  • The ideal candidate should hold University Graduate in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant sales experience within a recognized airline or travel agency is required, along with proven exposure to the airline, travel, or hospitality sectors.
  • The candidate should demonstrate strong analytical and report-writing skills, with the ability to interpret complex sales and revenue data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Proficiency in digital sales tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office applications is essential. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are expected, combined with strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently while taking initiative.
