Sales Executive (Freight Forwarding)

We are looking for a hunter-type Sales Executive to win new business for a global freight and logistics provider offer a complete range of shipping and logistics services. You will bring in new accounts, ideally from an established client base, and grow them over the long term.

Responsibilities:

• Actively pursue new business opportunities through methods like cold calling, canvassing, and meetings with potential clients.
• Use market knowledge and research to pinpoint potential leads.
• Create accurate quotations for clients, negotiate rates to secure contracts while ensuring company profitability, and diligently follow up on quotation statuses to finalize sales agreements.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both prospective and current clients.
• Understand client needs and preferences to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty, fostering repeat business and referrals.
• Collaborate closely with Customer Service and Operations teams to ensure smooth shipment organization and execution.
• Handle and resolve any issues that arise during the shipment process promptly and professionally.
• Explore potential sales opportunities and acquire new customers independently and proactively.
• Self-motivated and capable of working outdoors.
• Attractive Commission Scheme, with the potential for increased earnings through hard work.

Requirements:

• Minimum educational requirement is completion of Secondary School.
• At least 2 years of outdoor sales experience in Freight Forwarding/Shipping
• Work well under pressure.
• Track record of winning new accounts and hitting sales targets.
• Had an established client base is a advantage.
