- Showroom Consultation: Guide homeowners through our showroom, conducting deep needs assessments to understand their floor plans, style preferences, and budget constraints.
- Aesthetic Advisory: Use your design eye to offer styling advice, recommending pieces, fabrics, or configurations that fit the client's space and vision.
- Closing the Sale: Manage the full sales cycle from initial walk-in or inquiry to final payment, ensuring a high conversion rate.
- Omni-Channel Engagement: Respond promptly to direct inquiries via Instagram, TikTok, and email, converting online followers into showroom appointments.
- Clienteling: Build personal relationships with private clients to encourage repeat purchases andword-of-mouth referrals.
- ID Partnership Management: Act as the dedicated partner for Interior Design firms and Architects, pitching our sourcing capabilities to their design teams.
- Commercial Sourcing: Work on trade projects (cafes, offices) helping designers find furniture pieces that fit their project.
- Trade Quotations: Prepare complex, volume-based proposals for trade partners, including itemised costs, trade discounts, and delivery timelines.
- Strategic Proposal Management: Create detailed, accurate proposals for both retail and trade clients, walking them through customisation options and lead times.
- Order Stewardship: Proactively monitor order status and update customers before they ask, managing expectations on shipping timelines.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with the warehouse, delivery team, and our China-based manufacturing partners to find swift solutions for scheduling and assembly.
- Issue Resolution:Take full ownership of post-purchase issues — delivery delays or defects — ensuring the customer feels supported even if things go wrong.
- CRM Discipline: Meticulously log all interactions in our CRM system to build a long-term clientele database.
What You'll Need
- Design Eye: A background in Interior Design, Architecture, or Styling is highly preferred —you understand scale, proportion, and materials.
- Experience: Prior experience in Furniture Retail or Luxury Retail Sales is a major bonus.
- Customer-Centric:The empathy to listen to homeowner needs and the tenacity to resolveafter-sales issues professionally.
- Language: Bilingual in English and Mandarin — this role requires direct liaison with our China-based manufacturing and sourcing partners on order specifications, customisation, and logistics.
- Tech Adaptable: Comfortable using social media for business and learning new systems.
- Schedule: Willing to work rostered schedule, including weekends and public holidays — strictly during office hours (no night shifts).
