Sales Executive - Inside Sales
Job Summary:

This is a full-time salary plus bonus/commission position with more opportunities for advancement. As a Sheridan Inside Sales Executive, you will be the heart and soul of our customer relationships and business growth. This is a fast-paced environment where you are solving problems daily either for the customer or in relationship to our various printing plants. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients, proactively building relationships with customer decision makers to strengthen retention and identify new opportunities.
- Identify sales prospects for growth opportunities and follow up new leads and referrals when provided.
- Prepare and present proposals, estimates and presentations.
- Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships by presenting and selling company products and services.
- Prepare action plans and identify specific ways to advance sales.
- Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives.
- Continuously advance product and industry knowledge to be a valuable client resource.
- Establish and maintain productive peer-to-peer relationships with customers and prospects with consistent client and plant follow-up.
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including key account activity, quote follow-up and other duties assigned.
- Coordinate with internal staff to accomplish the work required to close the sale and/or resolve customer client concerns.
- Log all sales activity, opportunities, and deals in the CRM to keep account records current.
- Resolve quality or print issues with clients.
- Manage client credit and accounts receivable updates.
- Occasionally participate in marketing events, seminars, customer visits, trade shows when assigned.
- Assist in follow-up collection of payment (if required).
- Assist in the annual budgeting process for the assigned book of business.
- Be a team player to strive for the best possible outcome for the company and client.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- HS diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of relevant sales, account management, or customer service experience in a manufacturing operations or office environment directly related to the duties of the job, OR, demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of work experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including e-mail and electronic communication.
- Experience upselling to customers.
- Excellent technology skills including computer and software programs such as MS Office or MAC word processing, spreadsheets or other programs specific to the job.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry to business situations.
- Acceptance of, and responsibility to maintain sales goals and results.
- Must be organized to accomplish work by established deadlines and coordinate phases of work with others.
- Strong ambition, empathy, and honesty.
- Agile and flexible with regards to changing priorities and business needs; goal orientated.
- Must be able to handle rejection and not take a “No” personally.
- Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures in a professional and consistent manner.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Travel Requirements
- Minimal travel may be required and is the responsibility of the Sales Executive to monitor client needs and seek approval from management when necessary for travel.
- May require occasional overnight stay.
