Location: Onsite, four days per week – Kohler, WI OpportunitySales Executive dedicated to maintain a focused sales effort to maximize group business (typically defined as 12 room nights or more per night with conference space requirements) in achieving proposed occupancy and financial goals for the resort.Responsible for promoting and representing the resort in a sales capacity for group business.Specific ResponsibilitiesIs an independent contributor who works independently and achieves the objectives established with minimal support and direction.Active and participative member of group sales team. Working within guidelines to promote team and individual productivity and growth.Achieve or exceed group room night / revenue goals as outlined in the approved financial plan.Achieve or exceed individual room night / revenue goals as determined by sales leadership.Achieve or exceed weekly prospecting call and in person sales call objectives as determined by sales leadership.Manage assigned sales territory.Produce targeted sales action plans on a quarterly and annual basis for assigned market segments.Achieve and maintain exceptional knowledge of all Kohler hospitality businesses: history, business operations etc.Conduct tours of hospitality businesses for qualified clients, personally representing Kohler Hospitality as a luxury destination.Represent Kohler Hospitality -- on property, in the field and at industry events – by embodying our luxury standards in your delivery and attire.Develop and maintain Key Accounts within assigned market segments and promote repeat group bookings.Utilize all hospitality resources responsibly.Provide consistent and timely delivery of services to clients and assure group satisfaction.Organize assigned event(s) (Familiarization trip, in market events, offsite promotion etc.) complete with timeline for completion while maintaining approved budget.Provide detailed client information maintained in client management system, Delphi.Active participation in the Manager On Duty program.Handle duties as assigned by sales leadership.TravelAttend industry trade shows as mutually determined with sales leadership.Individual membership within particular industry organizations such as: MPI, WSAE, PCMA, etc. Participation demands vary with each organization.Must be able to travel to client offices for sales calls.Active participation in local membership organizations for all outside sales representatives.Industry OrganizationsAssigned to at least one major industry related organization (MPI, PCMA, WSAE etc.) and possibly several additional networking organizations (Rotary, Kiwanis, etc.).Represent Hospitality businesses as an industry leader.Drive Kohler Hospitality business names and uses into the minds of customers and peers.Act as point person for individuals within organization to contact for information.


The actual base salary offered to a candidate may be higher than the approved range. This will vary depending on a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and a special project incentive.
