Sales Executive

General Equipment Guyana Ltd. invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Sales Executive.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling heavy equipment and machinery, maintaining strong client relationships, and delivering professional sales support across key industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess customer requirements and recommend appropriate equipment solutions based on operational needs and project specifications.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients in the construction, mining, agriculture, and industrial sectors.
• Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and sales agreements in a timely manner.
• Conduct customer visits and site assessments to evaluate requirements and provide suitable recommendations.
• Provide detailed product information, including specifications, availability, pricing, and financing options.
• Follow up on sales leads, inquiries, and quotations to support successful sales conversion.
• Collaborate with the service and parts departments to ensure effective after-sales support and customer satisfaction.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and market trends.

Minimum Requirements

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to understand and interpret technical specifications and customer requirements.
• Valid Driver’s License (Car/Van) and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as within a team environment.
