Sales Executive / Senior Executive (Inside)
INDUSTRYRATIO:

· General industry: ~10% (Oil& gas, chemical & petrochemical, power plant & others)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage inbound enquiries and conduct outbound follow-ups by phone, email, and virtual meetings to qualify opportunities and support monthly and quarterly sales targets.
· Build trusted relationships with existing and prospective customers, identify needs, and recommend suitable products, upgrades, and complementary solutions.
· Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, pricing requests, and supporting documents in accordance with approval, margin, and commercial guidelines.
· Coordinate order processing from quotation to delivery, including order entry, availability checks, delivery schedules, documentation, and issue resolution with customers, logistics, finance, and HQ in Japan.
· Maintain complete and accurate customer, activity, quotation, order, and opportunity records in SAP and the CRM system, ensuring timely follow-up and reliable pipeline visibility.
· Partner with outdoor sales and distributors on lead handovers, account actions, pricing exceptions, customer meetings, and sales campaigns.
· Monitor open quotations, orders, backlogs, and dormant accounts; proactively address delays, recover opportunities, and support customer retention.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts, demand plans, pipeline updates, and activity reports for management review.
· Develop working knowledge of the company’s products, semiconductor applications, customer requirements, and internal processes to provide responsive first-line commercial support.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Diploma or degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
· One to three years of inside sales, sales support, customer service, order management, or distribution experience; semiconductor or industrial B2Bexposure is preferred.
· Working knowledge of CRM and ERP systems, preferably SAP, with the ability to maintain customer records, enter orders, track quotations, and produce basic sales reports.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
· Clear and professional written and verbal communication, with strong listening and consultative questioning skills.
· Customer-focused, responsive, and tactful when handling enquiries, objections, complaints, and competing priorities.
· Organised, detail-oriented, and disciplined in follow-up, data accuracy, documentation, and deadline management.
· Collaborative and adaptable, with the confidence to coordinate across customers, outdoor sales, distributors, logistics, finance, and HQ.
· Commercially aware, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment while contributing to team goals.
