Sales Executive / Senior Executive (Outdoor)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage an assigned territory and customer portfolio, conducting regular on-site visits to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
· Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities in semiconductor front-end fabrication and selected general industrial markets in Singapore and Malaysia.
· Build trusted relationships with engineers, procurement teams, distributors, contractors, and decision-makers by understanding operational and technical requirements.
· Conduct customer meetings, site surveys, product presentations, and demonstrations; recommend suitable products, upgrades, and complementary solutions.
· Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and technical clarification to quotation, negotiation, order handover, and post-sale follow-up.
· Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, pricing requests, visit reports, and supporting documents in accordance with approval and margin guidelines.
· Maintain complete and timely customer, visit, quotation, opportunity, and forecast records in SAP and the CRM system to ensure reliable pipeline visibility.
· Coordinate with inside sales, distributors, logistics, finance, technical teams, and HQ in Japan to support order fulfilment and resolve customer issues.
· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer investments, and territory developments to identify risks and new growth opportunities.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts, demand plans, pipeline updates, and activity reports for management review.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Diploma or degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
· One to three years of field sales, account management, distribution, contractor, or industrial B2B sales experience; semiconductor exposure is preferred.
· Familiarity with semiconductor front-end fabrication, manufacturing processes, customer applications, and supply chains in Singapore and Malaysia.
· Self-motivated and disciplined to record customer visits, quotations, opportunities, orders, and forecasts accurately.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
· Clear and persuasive communicator with strong active listening, presentation, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
· Customer-focused, self-motivated, and resilient, with the confidence to work independently and develop relationships at customer sites.
· Organised and accountable, with effective territory planning, time management, follow-up, and attention to detail.
· Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to coordinate effectively with inside sales, distributors, technical teams, logistics, finance, and HQ.
· Willing to travel as required and possess a valid driving licence and own car.
