Sales Inventory Specialist

Essential Duties

• Maintain the offering price of inventory throughout the prescribed 60-day lifecycle based on age, market conditions, and any additional costs to inventory.
• Assist the Used Vehicle Director in all aspects of merchandising inventory from acquisition to disposal
• Create an organized and measurable daily process to ensure that all pre-owned vehicles are priced and merchandised in a manner to create the most opportunity for turning the inventory in a timely and profitable fashion.
• Work with other employees within the department to coordinate an efficient stocking-in, servicing, reconditioning, and merchandising of inventory.
• Coordinate with other departments to expedite the needs of the used vehicle department
• Create RO’s in CDK.
• Assist with dispatching work to service lot coordinators.
• Monitor the Service Daily Log to efficiently coordinate work in process.
• Coordinate spotlight advertisement with vendors and ensure pricing is based on the market overview weighed by market day supply.
• Prepare wholesale documentation and monitor the market for opportunities to offload slow-moving inventory
• Assist the Used Vehicle Director with maintaining the appropriate supply of used vehicles based on lost sales, fast-turn vehicles, and sales history.
• Work with department team members to coordinate an efficient stocking-in, servicing, reconditioning, and merchandising of inventory.
• Coordinate with other departments to expedite the needs of the used vehicle department
• Assist the Used Vehicle Director with maintaining the appropriate supply of used vehicles based on lost sales, fast-turn vehicles, and sales history.
