Sales - M&A Market

EquiMatch is an AI-powered M&A origination platform. Private equity firms come to us with an investment thesis; we turn it into a live pipeline of acquisition targets - identifying companies that fit the mandate, reaching their owners directly, and vetting genuine interest before making a warm introduction.

We're hiring our first CRO to own revenue end to end, bringing sales and M&A origination under one leader.

Tasks

• Develop and continuously improve sales playbooks, processes, and enablement materials

• Create and own the revenue forecast and ensure predictable pipeline coverage

• Align tightly with M&A team to define and prioritize target industries, geographies, and buyer profiles

• Collaborate cross-functionally to shape go-to-market strategy and positioning

• Define and evolve our customer segments and pricing strategies to maximize value capture across markets.

• Drive the creation of sales content (decks, one-pagers, case studies, outreach messaging, etc.)

• Work closely with product and engineering to ensure commercial feedback informs product direction

Requirements

• 3+ years in commercial role - specifically selling products or services to private equity firms.

• Experience owning pipeline, forecasting, and closing complex deals

• Comfortable creating structure and processes in early-stage or fast-scaling environments

• Hands-on experience building GTM strategies in founder-led or zero-to-one settings

• Clear, persuasive communicator — written, verbal, and visual
