Sales Manager

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales revenue, developing sales team performance, and ensuring a high standard of execution across all sales floor operations. This role is not designed to function as an additional sales associate, but rather as a coach and sales leader who leads from the floor through real-time performance management, structured coaching, and strong operational oversight. You will act as the primary link between Sales, Marketing, Fulfillment, and Events, ensuring product launches, promotions, and activations are executed with clarity and intention to maximize foot traffic, conversion, and long-term customer loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Performance & Metrics Management
Drive daily revenue targets and ensure consistent pacing toward sales goals
Monitor real-time performance using POS data and on-floor observation
Track and analyze ARPs and individual performance metrics across the team
Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities, and implement immediate adjustments
Coaching, Leadership & Culture
Lead from the floor through active coaching, zoning, and observation
Provide real-time feedback and structured development for Sales Leads and Associates
Conduct regular 1:1s focused on performance, communication, and growth
Build and maintain a culture of accountability without fear-based management
Staffing, Operations & Floor Execution
Oversee scheduling, attendance, and staffing coverage to meet business needs
Ensure SOPs are consistently executed by the sales team
Maintain high standards of sales floor merchandising and presentation
Address performance and behavioral issues promptly and effectively
Training & Development
Own onboarding and training of all new sales hires
Ensure team proficiency in POS systems, product knowledge, and sales approach
Track and document training progress and readiness for independent work
Develop Sales Leads to effectively manage and coach their teams
Sales Coordination Across Departments
Coordinate with Marketing, Fulfillment, and Events to support sales execution for launches and promotions
Ensure the sales team executes marketing initiatives and event-related promotions on the floor
Communicate product priorities and promotional focus to the team
Sales Reporting & Execution
Provide regular updates on performance, staffing, risks, and opportunities
Document coaching, escalations, and performance trends
Recommend improvements to sales processes and team performance
Support long-term planning through data-driven insights and execution
Compensation & Benefits
Paid Time Off: 20 days annually, subject to blackout dates based on event scheduling
