Sales Manager
Job Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities that drive sustainable revenue growth for the company.
The role focuses on corporate sales, strategic partnerships, market expansion, key account management, and business opportunities across the public and private sectors, while strengthening the company's market presence and supporting long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales and achieve revenue targets.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, and tender documents for prospective clients.
Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
Manage the sales pipeline, follow up on leads, and convert prospects into long-term customers.
Collaborate with Technical, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Prepare periodic business development and sales performance reports for management.
Represent the company professionally at client meetings, networking events, and other business engagements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
5–7 years experience in business development, corporate sales, strategic marketing, or key account management.
Experience within the renewable energy, engineering, construction, electrical, or technology industry is an added advantage.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding business development and revenue targets.
Strong negotiation, presentation, networking, and relationship management skills.
Excellent proposal writing and business communication skills.
Strong analytical, commercial, and strategic thinking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems is an advantage.
Salary
N400,000 per month.
