Sales Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead business development activities, grow key customer accounts, and expand market share within a technical manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, identifying new opportunities, and providing technical sales support to customers across various industries.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Build, manage, and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive business development activities.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within existing and emerging markets.
- Maintain and grow relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate technical solutions and product recommendations.
- Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and commercial negotiations with customers.
- Provide ongoing product support and after-sales service to ensure customer retention and long-term partnerships.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and management reports.
- Conduct regular customer visits, site inspections, and follow-up meetings.
- Assist in identifying and developing new product opportunities based on market demand and customer feedback.
Requirements
- Grade 12.
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field will be advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Technical Sales, Business Development, or Sales Management role.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate product specifications and solutions.
- Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, industrial, technical, or related environment will be advantageous.
- Valid Drivers License.
