About the role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales & Marketing Manager to lead our sales force, build strong customer relationships, and grow our presence across Modern Trade, General Trade, and HoReCa channels. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who can translate market insights into actionable plans, coach a developing sales team, and drive sustainable revenue growth. You will play a key role in shaping our commercial direction and ensuring seamless execution from strategy to field operations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve AOP (Annual Operating Plan) and company sales targets.
- Plan and activate sales initiatives that drive distribution, visibility, and volume growth.
- Revive inactive accounts, identify market gaps, and penetrate new territories.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and outlet-level performance to guide decisions.
- Manage and grow business across Modern Trade, General Trade, HoReCa, and other channels.
- Lead annual business reviews, promotional planning, and trade term negotiations.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate Sales Executives and Merchandisers.
- Conduct joint field visits to monitor performance and support trade execution.
- Work closely with logistics and supply chain to ensure product availability and timely deliveries.
- Monitor territory performance, payment collections, and aging reports.
Requirements
- Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry, with strong General Trade (GT) exposure
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing a sales team
- Possess own car and willing to travel for work
- Experience managing MT, GT and/or HoReCa channels is highly preferred
